Jason Munley

Saxophonist, bassist, composer

A lover of music since the age of 12 when he first learned to play Alto Saxophone, Jason Munley went on to study Jazz Performance at Shenandoah University and since that time has enjoyed performing in a live environment. With performance abilities in both Alto Saxophone and Double Bass, Jason is open to all styles of music.

While a resident of Pittsburgh, Jason primarily arranged horn charts and played Alto Saxophone with the Nightly Standard, a 7-piece fusion band, and later played Double Bass with Shameless Hex, a Bluegrass/Americana band. Jason also volunteered his time with Tuesday Musical Club to perform free public concerts and provide an outreach program to bring music to senior residences and convalescent homes.

Jason's skills range from sight-reading all styles of music to composing charts in all keys.

New to the Berry Hill area of Nashville, Jason is available for sessions, live shows, touring, video.
